Can you fix my existing slow site instead of rebuilding it?
Usually, yes. Most slow WordPress sites are fixable — the common culprits are unoptimised images, uncached cart fragments, a bloated plugin stack and a database nobody has ever cleaned. I start with a paid audit that tells you honestly whether a fix or a rebuild is the better use of your money. Plenty of times the answer has been “keep the site, fix four things”.
Do you use Elementor and other page builders?
When a client needs to edit pages themselves, yes — and I tune it so it doesn’t cost speed. When performance is the priority, I build a custom block theme instead, which ships far less CSS and JavaScript. I’ll recommend one or the other based on who’s maintaining the site, not on which is easier for me.
What does a project cost, and how do you bill?
Custom WordPress builds start at €800, WooCommerce projects at €1,200, technical SEO engagements at €500, and care plans at €50 per month. You get a fixed quote with a written scope before anything starts, typically 50% up front and 50% at launch. If the scope changes, we agree the cost of the change before I do the work.
What happens after launch?
Every build includes two weeks of post-launch support and a handover session so your team can run the site without me. After that you can take a monthly care plan, or simply get in touch when you need something. There’s no lock-in — you own the site, the hosting and the code.
Do time zones make working together difficult?
No. I work daily with a German team, so European hours are already my normal schedule and UK and EU clients get same-day replies. For US clients I keep a fixed overlap window each day for calls. Written updates land every two to three days regardless.
Who owns the site and the code?
You do, entirely, from the moment the final invoice is paid. That includes the theme code, the hosting account and every plugin licence bought for the project. Nothing is tied to an account only I can access.
